I loved the animations and the music. The transition camera panning over and the bricks where awesome ideas. I couldn't even beat normal so I think it's a pretty challenging game. The breaking wall and revealing a building(Sorry don't know what it is) is a great feature.
the particle effect on hitting enemy is pretty cool and that oldschool dramatic soundtrack is awesome as well as the oldschool artstyle :) very nice
I like the old style animation and the simple combo combat system when you hit enemies ( like in "Golden axe" or "Street of Rage").I like the rest to :) .
For sure the brick animation is really cool! it would be nice to know if you got hit though. For example, you turn red or the camera shake a little bit when you get punched. Very good job for a beginner jam!
There is so much love put into the menu animation - the panning into help menu., the brick wall transition, and actually having a audio slider - they gave such a strong first impression. Also, what an original take on the theme. Love the wall breaking mechanic
